Welcome to Bro. Paul Thigpen's web page known as "The Baptist Preacher". I have been blessed to have the privilege to serve / pastor at an Independent Baptist Church. I surendered into the ministry on July 24, 2003 and I have been serving as a pastor since June 25, 2006. God has blessed me to have seen lost souls saved, members which had not been to Church in years come back home, and others moving their membership from other Churches. I have even witnessed God bringing some out of false religions into his wonderful family through salvation in Jesus Christ.
God is to be given the credit for all of these blessings!
A few of our preachers and Churches in our area had to take a stand and seperate ourself from fellowshiping with others because of their failure to stand on / for God's Word (Authorized King James Version). I consider the Authorized King James Version of the bible as one qualifier for fellowshipping with others. We must continue to stand upon the true Word of God and compromise it for no one because it is that Word which all our faith and hope is based upon.
The Authorized King James Version of the Bible is the preserved Word of God for the English speaking people, and any other so called modern translation has been corrupted by mankind.

It is a pleasure to serve at a place where you can find Biblical teaching, Christ-centered worship and a loving fellowship. Within this site you can find information on what to expect at a worship service, what I believe, and different ways we can minister to you and your family. I would like to get to know you, minister to your family, but above all I want to encourage the lost to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour, and for the born again person to be encouraged and be instructed so they can grow in their relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
My hearts desire is when you visit us you will find a group of believers committed to loving God, growing together and serving Christ! I want us to be a people that is friendly, sociable, and full of Christian love. We should be a people that is committed to missions both locally and globally.
